Featured Car of the Month - 1969 Excaliber

 

This car is a 1969 Excalibur. Owned by Edward and Louise Virgilio of Albertson New York. Ed purchased this vehicle new in 1969. Looking closely you see their dog Rosie poking her head out from the removable windows.

Excalibur started production in 1964. Based upon 1920’s styling, they created an affordable and fun roadster. They used Chevrolet components in the power train and a fiberglass body.

These vehicles were produced in very limited quantity. Because of this many safety and emissions laws were able to be circumvented.

 Current values can be from $15,000 to $45,000.
